Hailing from the beautiful city of Hispahan, this rug almost all the well-known and weighted elements of Persian rugs. A rounded central medallion and double hangings, with red coloring and touches of blue and ecru on a yellow field, rare and completed with 4 corners with a dark blue background and arabesques in pink and pale blue. The rest of the field with a great variety of toothed branches, flowers and palmettes; with blue, pink and ecru colors. The border is wide with a main groove with a pinkish-red background and Shah Abbas design of flowery branches, carried to the extreme of delicacy. The secondary ones with small flowers and geometric motifs and blue, yellow and ecru colors. All this makes it a bombastic and chromatic rug par excellence, very typical of this production.
