GUIDE TO CHOOSING THE CORRECT CARPET SIZE

Carpet for the living room

The first thing to do is measure the space. If you need to get an idea of the space that the carpet will occupy to find out the measurements, you can place tape on the floor, to visually delimit it.

In the living room part, we recommend that the carpet be placed under sofas and armchairs, even a few centimeters, so the carpet is more supported.

For a living room area with a 3-seater sofa and another two-seater and / or chaise longue, the recommended measurements for the carpet would be the following:

Carpet for the dining room

The dining room rug has to be large enough to fit the table and chairs with all their legs inside the rug. If the back legs of the chairs are left off the carpet, there is an unevenness that causes the leg to limp, and is uncomfortable for the diners.

Our recommendation is that the mat is at least 50 cm larger on each side, to be able to move the chair away without problem.

Rugs for the bedroom

First of all, you have to take into account the measurements of the bed and the room.

According to this, and the distribution that we have, we already know what the size of the carpet should be, or of the carpets, in the event that we want to put one on each side of the bed.

In image # 1 you can see one of the most used options, 2 foot beds on each side and one at the foot. In images 2 and 3 you can see a single large rug, which can be under or outside the bedside tables.
