WHO WE ARE

HAMID is a rug brand founded in 1981, with a strong family heritage rooted in craftsmanship and the value of handmade products. For more than 40 years, we have been selecting and creating rugs that combine quality, tradition, and design.

We evolve with new styles without losing our essence, offering unique rugs that bring character and personality to every space.

FIRST STAGE

During an initial stage marked by constant journeys to the countries of origin, we established direct relationships with our suppliers, built on trust and the pursuit of new qualities, designs, and textures.

This process enabled us to introduce innovative ideas into the rug market, developing exclusive pieces and a wide variety of styles, from the most traditional to newly created designs.

As a result of this work, our own collections were born, such as Shayan, Omid, Farahan, Bamian, and Suzani, the outcome of continuous research into color, quality, and craftsmanship.

EVOLUTION OF OUR RUGS

At Hamid, we are committed to offering rugs of authentic quality, with meticulous attention to every detail. All our pieces undergo rigorous monitoring from their place of production, ensuring an impeccable finish.

In addition to newly created rugs, we specialize in antique rugs, with a limited collection of unique pieces of great value. They stand out for the use of natural dyes, the original designs created by weavers of their time, and their excellent state of preservation.

We mainly work with materials such as wool, natural silk, and blends of both, while also incorporating new qualities such as jute, bamboo silk, and acrylic fibers.

In our collection, you will find everything from classic rugs to modern designs, plain or full of color, with different textures and finishes: high-density and soft rugs, long pile rugs, or flat-woven pieces such as kilims, available in a wide variety of sizes.

BEYOND RUGS

We believe in the responsibility of contributing to a better world. That is why, in 2003, the Nehal Foundation was born, inspired by the legacy of its founder and Persian mystic poet Mr. Manucher Hejazi Tafreshí, with the aim of building bridges between Eastern and Western cultures.

Based in Madrid, the foundation works to preserve and promote his literary work, as well as to encourage knowledge of the Farsi language and culture.

In addition, it promotes cultural, educational, and social projects focused on values such as respect, peace, and unity, supporting initiatives in humanistic research and actions in favor of children and young people.
