We also offer an outstanding collection of fine wool and silk rugs. They are known as "fine rugs" because they are woven in wool or in wool and silk, with knot densities of up to one million knots per square metre. This results in exceptional durability, superior quality and extraordinary definition of every design. Silk rugs represent the highest level of quality within Oriental rugs, as the precious raw material provides an exceptionally soft touch and remarkable visual beauty. Together with antique rugs, they are among the world's most highly valued handcrafted rugs.
Our collections also include classic Oriental rugs and nomadic rugs. The main difference is that nomadic rugs are woven by genuine nomadic tribes—mostly Persian—who create each design entirely from memory, following traditions passed down through generations for centuries. Our classic Oriental rugs are woven in specialised workshops following traditional patterns, always knot by knot, by highly experienced master weavers. Our Oriental collections include designs such as Ziegler, Omid, Farahan, Shiva, Suzani, Anapurna and Shayan, among many others.
Ushak and Mamluk rugs are two distinctive collections. Ushak rugs originate from the historic Turkish city of Uşak, renowned worldwide for its centuries-old weaving tradition, while Mamluk rugs are inspired by the geometric designs created during Egypt's Mamluk dynasty.
If you are looking for a rug for a spacious living room, dining room, entrance hall or any large interior, our Large Rugs Collection offers a wide range of oversized rugs, from 300 × 200 cm up to 600 × 400 cm, designed to enhance generous spaces with exceptional quality.
